Not to toot her own horn, but Ms. Walker has a pretty good “third eye”. Her peripheral vision is so acutely refined that she can spot wrongdoers while reading aloud to a class, correct them, and continue the story without missing a beat.
She was taken aback this afternoon, though, by one Grade 5 Student - another nefarious Hu - who somehow silently wormed his way from one end of the carpet to the other during our read-aloud of The London Eye Mystery, taking everyone by surprise.
The similarities to Ninja Cat were uncanny!
