What’s on hold?

Other school library bloggers like to document the books on their hold shelf, because it’s fun to compare what kids are reading at different schools. Well, at Saints we don’t have a hold shelf per se (it’s actually a plastic box), but it’s always interesting to see what books the boys want!

Not too shocking: A lot of these are the newest books in popular series, or just brand-new books altogether. Some of these books like Practical Origami and Liar and Spy are new books that the Library Club got a sneak peek at last week. Optical illusions and books of lists are always popular, as are graphic novels (especially after you’ve met the author in person!). Origami and paper crafts – always a good bet too. But The Swiss Family Robinson?!?! That was a bit of surprise!
