Wordless Wednesday

Today was Grade 1’s last library visit before the Christmas holiday begins next week, so we had a special treat: The Snowman by Raymond Briggs. This is a wordless graphic novel, so the boys were invited to come up to the front and “read” the story to the rest of the class.

For a book with no words, it’s a very detailed story, so we didn’t get a chance to finish it! We’ll take care of that next week during class time. If you’ve never read The Snowman, then this clip from the film version of this classic story should whet your appetite:
